Grace School of Dance Performs with AACT

Mrs. Lisa High's Monday night Creative Arts team classes (tap & praise jam) will perform The Charleston, as the Martini children in the high school dance scene near the beginning of the play (just before the gym floor opens up!).

Grace students from our Sapphires advanced ballet class will perform "Lord, I Need You" (Matt Maher) in the "Dream Scene," where George Bailey cries out for guidance near the end of the show.  This piece was choreographed by Carolyn Fisher, and was performed recently with the PCF Players Dessert Theatre (during their presentation of Screwtape), and in the Sunday morning service at Pioneer Christian Fellowship in November.

Proceeds from AACT shows benefit the community, as a fund raiser to be given to local charities.  Come early to get a good seat!

And we're off! Year Seven at Grace School of Dance Begins

We are so excited to begin our 7th year!

And what a year of accomplishment it is for us.
Two of our students have recently been approved to begin pointe!  And there are several others who are nearing this goal!
Classical ballet, which is the core of our technique training, is a long road.  It has fun spots a long the way, of course, but for many, the "real fun" (bigger jumps, leaps, pointe shoes ...) does not begin until years of hard work have been accomplished.  Our students have put in the time, persistence, humility and precision it takes to become beautifully trained dancers.  We have a fun year ahead!!!

So just remember, a lot of this:

and even more of this:

reaps a harvest of this:

in the end.

James 1: 4-5  (NAS)

4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Thank you for embarking on this journey with us!

We will conclude Friday with a special performance, presenting what we have learned.

We take time daily to worship through song and dance, pray together, sit in God's presence and learn to hear His voice.
